Béla Hartmann returns to the Hindhead Music Centre in a programme featuring two of the best known sets of Variations ever composed - Mozart's Variations on "Ah, vous dirai-je Maman" (better known as "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star") and Beethoven's monumental "33 Variations on a Waltz by Diabelli". In between are Bartok's short but hugely popular Rumanian Dances and Chopin's Fourth Ballade, itself something of a set of variations.
